Describing A Mom

My Mom knows the difference,
Between right and wrong.
My Mom has the courage
To speak forthright and strong.

My Mom rewards merit
With warm maternal pride.
Skillfully applauding ethics;
Mom's my impartial guide.

My Mom respects nature,
Cognizant of its gifts:
With wisdom borne of earth,
Mom nurtures and uplifts.

My Mom's integrity
Taught me how to be fair.
Through smiles, and tears, and laughter...
Mom taught me how to care!

My Mom's benevolence
Taught me self-sacrifice.
Never domineering;
Mom's prudent with advice.

Honest and sincere,
Mom knows how to stand alone...
An independant spirit
My Mom will condone.

My Mom can be tolerant,
Understanding my mistakes,
For my Mom is my champion!
Mom knows what winning takes!!
