Who could not tie his shoe
Anxious and frustrated

Then daddy came to help...

No matter how much he struggled

Who couldn't learn to walk
It was almost as difficult
As learning how to talk,

Then daddy came to help...

And this little child
Grew up to learn one day
A simple word like "daddy"
Means so much today...

For all the little things
Took for granted then
Now seem like tiny miracles
As they are taught again.
