It's one of them kinda days
when you just sorta feel
like hangin' out with a friend...
You know the kind...
you can't even walk on the sand
in your bare feet
'cuz you feel like you're burning up
and maybe
the only good thing about having to go to work
is maybe
if you're lucky - your building has air-conditioning
*sigh*
but then you have to get there
through traffic
riding on hot pavement
sorta lucky if your shoes don't melt
and your clothes get sorta clingy
oh, and forget the hair, babe
it'll wilt under this heat
*sigh*
