I remember the day well... my doctor shaking his head and stating "Take these anti-inflamatory pills and take 2 full weeks off work. Come back and see me and we'll see if you can go back on light-duty work after that."

That was easy for him to say. Where I worked, in heavy construction as a carpenter scaffolding specialist - there was no such thing as "light-duty work" ...and we were in the middle of massive lay-offs. Injured on the job, but couldn't prove it ...couldn't work therefore couldn't file for unemployment benefits... and couldn't get any disability.

Overnight our main source of income was stripped away... and that was just the beginning of our story.

I Had No Choice! I Had To Make Money From Home!

I was making a small amount from one of my online ventures at the time, plus still doing a few small pay-to-surf and pay-to-read-email things ...but that only brought in a paltry $500-$600 per month, not nearly enough to support 2 mortgages, a wife, a 2-year-old son, and a massive mounting credit card debt.

My old network marketing company was going through some MAJOR upheavals, my downline was totally raided by some very unscrupulous upline, and my wife --- bless her heart --- was just beginning her own small business as a copywriter online.

She had already survived the months of colic our son lived through, and the more than 1-1/2 years of Infant GERD he grew out of, and there was no way in the world she could have worked in any traditional job under the circumstances of our son's birth. But her business was new, and took time to build up clients and any decent income.

As we fell deeper and deeper into debt, her home business slowly grew, while I began the search for an income opportunity that would help pull us out from under before we lost it all.
